Now Betis is seventh in the league at just 3 points from the sixth position, the last one to qualify for the spot in the Europa League.

Betis goes for the Europa League

Enrique Setién Solar’s team brought in the 11th win of the season, already more in 25 games than the side managed all last season. The match was decided in 15 minutes. On a corner kick, Oier stopped the header of Mandi. Still, Chema Rodriguez headed the ball into his own net as he attempted to clear the box. The lead empowered Betis to keep pushing hard. However, on a long kick from the keeper, Adan, Sergio Leòn was able to dribble pass the defender at run in the box with only the keeper to stop him. The striker sealed the victory with only 20 minutes to go.
